TSM Advantage - Vintage is our premium Winery Management
Solution. It may be used stand-alone or combined with our own
Financial Management Solution (TSM Advantage - FMS) for a
complete end to end solution.
From vineyard and block management through vintage planning
and allocations, TSM Advantage - Vintage allows you to plan
your grower specifications and intake to your requirements.
When matched with comprehensive grape receipting, grower
and carrier payments, cellar operations, small wood
management, bulk wine management, chemistry analysis and
integrated system wide composition and cost management, you
have a complete winery management solution.
For a complete enterprise solution, add production and
bottling, quotations, spirit and brandy support, comprehensive
data warehousing, analysis and reporting and support for
external interfaces. Naturally it is fully GST and WET tax
compliant.
Vineyard and Block Management
Manage your own and your grower's vineyards and blocks; keeping
detailed information about varieties, clones, block
specifications, including root stock, trellis and irrigation,
soil characteristics, harvesting results and statistics,
receipts by docket number and chemistry. Apportion activity
costs over an individual block or a group of blocks and record
maturity data by block and variety.
Vintage Planning and Allocations
Use past vintages to determine intake quotas and levels for
each variety, grower and block. Compare actual and estimates
for previous years when planning the current year and plan
your preferred way - by block, grower or variety. Keep plant
usage efficient by assigning fruit intake to specific days and
/ or hours. Coordinate the intake and production loads for a
region.
Intake / Grape Receipt
Receive at the block or grower level and optionally record
chemistry and carrier information. Summarise composition by
day and of course, all dockets (whether single or dual pass)
are linked to cellar notes for end to end integrated costing.
Use either field sampling or grape receipt to record quality
compared to specification. You can even revise estimated
intake as required.
Grower and Carrier Payments
Price by grower, source, variety and/or clone or a combination
of these. Support for base prices per hectare, per tonne,
bonuses, levies and deductions, minimum-qualifying chemistry,
vineyard management as well as pest and disease bonuses and
quality control and you have the industries' broadest range of
payment options.
Cellar Operations
Define your own user operations with complete cost control or
use our suggested coding system. Standard cellar operations
include the ability to receipt, move and dispatch wine. Create
additive notes for multiple additions and multiple tanks and
link to operations for easy single entry. Support for small
wood transfers is standard as are topping notes and multi
winery stock movements. Of course we support single and dual
pass operations as well as blend reclassification. Integrity
is everything and we ensure composition and blend history is
maintained at all times.
Small Wood Management
TSM leads in small wood management. Standard features include
type, ageing, stacking, individual or group barrel support for
transfers and complete cellar operations and notes support.
Bulk Wine Management
View at a glance the status of your tank farm. See pending
cellar operations and previous history. Use trial blending to
show the status of composition, costs and chemistry.
Chemistry Analysis
Complete traceability of chemical tests performed through the
life of the product is standard. Requests for chemistry
testing are created within the system and their progress is
fully maintained, and results updated and stored on-line.
Requests may be at time of cellar note update, setup in
advance or just entered as required. If you have existing
equipment to integrate we can provide you with options to
directly interface.
Composition and Costing
At the end of the day you need profitability and
traceability.
Costing provides you with the means to cost all work and
materials used during the life of the wine. Costing methods
can be setup to cater for all conditions, from the simplest to
the most complex methods. Costs can be applied to operations
(both fixed and variable), additives, wood, tank storage and
of course the grape costs flow from receipts. The costing
system also caters for 'what if?' and comparative costing.
As well as computing the costs of each parcel of wine we
compute the LIP of the wine after each operation based on
variety, source and year (and optionally grower / block).
We also track the additive composition of the wine. If
you need to make corrections or changes to the composition we
even support that and both composition and costing have a
complete audit trail of transactions and history.
Spirit Management
The production of Brandy / Spirit through the Winery uses
many of the standard features of the Vintage system such
including tank management, chemistry analysis, blending and
the recording of movements. This is however augmented by a
comprehensive and integrated spirit module that links with
these standard features.
Spirit tables are created for detailed calibration and also
to record the volumetric conversion of spirit to a standard
temperature (Conversion to 20C and Conversion to Litres of
alcohol).
Spirit tank support and discrete Cellar operation notes for
every type of operation relating to spirits are standard, as
is traceability for customs reporting. This includes Corrected
Litres, Strengths (hydrometer, obscuration, actual), Litres of
Alcohol (LALS) at both ambient temperature and 20C, Sugar and
Percent 2A, Tariff Item and Date in Wood.
Bottling, Production and Financial Management
TSM's bottling and production features are extremely
comprehensive and in use at both winery and contract bottling
organisations. They are fully integrated with the Vintage and
FMS suites, allowing product to be moved using user defined
operations and inventory transactions from the tank to your
warehouse.
TSM's Financial Management Suite (FMS) contains all of the
rich features and functionality you would expect to run your
winery and is fully integrated with the Vintage suite. Like
bottling, FMS is in use at standalone sites.
Interfacing
Interface to as much or as little of your existing
equipment as you require. TSM has experience with interfaces
to all sorts of equipment from crushing to weighbridges.
